Ritemed Ambroxol syrup for kids contains Ambroxol, which stimulates fluid secretion in the respiratory tract and breaks down mucus resulting in the production of less thick and less sticky mucus/phlegm.
This kids cough medicine improves mucus flow and transport, making phlegm easier to cough up and expel.
From the makers of Unilab, Ritemed Ambroxol is a good alternative to Robikids Syrup, Loviscol Syrup for Kids and Ascof Syrup for Kids.
Dosage
This medicine should be taken orally
1 to 2 yrs = 2.5ml or 1/2 teaspoonful every 12 hrs
3 to 6 yrs = 2.5ml or 1/2 teaspoonful every 8 hrs
7 to 12 yrs = 5ml or 1 teaspoonful every 8 to 12 hrs
Above 12 yrs = 10ml or 2 teaspoonful every 8 hrs
Or, as recommended by a doctor.
Doses are best taken after meals
